Colors
The tragicomedy "Colors" wants to examine various aspects of man: Intolerance, xenophobia and the dynamics in which man loses capacities to live life in a vital, creative and positive way.
The audience is invited to witness a therapy session of three people who, at first glance, could not be more different: A man who lost his sight, a walking-impaired and suicidal woman, and a xenophobic man struggling with obvious aggression and hiding a problem. The play plays with the poetry of colors, with the surrealism of dreams and the unconscious, and tells of the struggle against the fear of the new. It is about reviving "colors" believed lost.
Premiere: October 8, 2021, 8 p.m. as part of the Intercultural Days of the State Capital Dresden at Theaterhaus Rudi
